It’s a place where soft, silky beach sands slip between your toes, where sculpted limestone cliffs are enchanting and sunsets are truly hypnotic...
Welcome to Jamaica’s Capital of Casual. Negril is not a place but a state of mind, where visitors shed worries, sense of time, even clothes.
Negril is about an hour away from the Montego Bay Airport, a beautiful easy drive on a modern highway. Located on the island’s western tip, Negril provides uninterrupted views of the sea and sunsets from the Seven Mile Beach, and the secluded coral cliffs on the West End. From Negril Point southward, the coastline curves inward to embrace Long Bay, home of the silky beach, stretching as far as the eye can see. Norman Manley Boulevard runs parallel to the beach. Between the Boulevard and the sandy stretch there are numerous hotels, restaurants, and funky bars. Negril is the most geographically diverse destination in Jamaica. Here, smooth sand gives way to jagged cliffs.
