Devon House features classic 19th-century architecture and furnishings. In Spanish Town — Jamaica’s colonial capital between 1534 and 1874 — visit Old King’s House, now the site of a museum. Old King’s House is also the place where the 1834 proclamation abolishing slavery was read. Spend some time at the17th-century capital and pirate haven of Port Royal, now home to museums, forts and relics.
